Universal Glamping formally the ‘The Log Pod’ has received a total rebranding and by doing so are rolling out 50 pods over 5 locations.to Pakistan.
George and Brad Richardson the new directors, of Universal Glamping have taken over the day-to-day running of the business, bringing in a young entrepreneur flare to the business. The brand new logo offers a branding like no other, showing that they are market leaders, as a well-established manufacturer of Glamping Pods and new innovative structures.
It was only a matter of time that the potential of this company was seen with, many new projects in the pipeline.
The joint venture with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) was to supply 50 pods, all specifically designed in a flat pack version, to reach the remotest area’s of Pakistan, this is only one of the ongoing projects that are currently being undertaken.
The Flat pack pods where fitted with insulation to combat the harsh weather that the remote parts of Pakistan, had to offer. They came with an off-grid power supply to be accessible in the remotest parts of the country. The location for the first 10 out of 50 pods was situated in the stunning mountains and is an ideal place for tourist to enjoy the wonderful scenery. These little micro economies will help to sustain the local communities and help them to become self reliant, bringing in a regular income.
The UNDP are hopeful that this will encourage internal and external tourism in some of the most remote parts of Pakistan.
The pods come as a bespoke structure for the areas on which they will be located. Universal Glamping, the family run business, has been manufacturing glamping pods for 12 years, watching the Glamping industry grow and develop.
